What a fun time it was for the Batik Influencer, Jeannie (who oso [the word “also” pronounced this way by some people here😁] happens to be my wife); and myself, recognised by more and more people as the “Hatted Writer” (This recognition is gaining traction), at our stint at Amcorp Shopping Mall last weekend. It was fun from the word “Go” when we set up our booth until we packed up to leave.
People started streaming in, browsing all the things that were displayed on the tables. Soon enough, others started checking the various Batik Cape Creations under the JEANNIE’S OWN label. Before long, the buying started. JEANNIE’S OWN Batik Cape Creations were very limited in stock, making it exclusive to those who purchased one or more of them.
A moment of humour.
Off and on, Jeannie and I managed to get short rests here and there during the day. I have to admit, I managed 40 winks…ok ok…it was 57…I counted😉😂. That super short power snooze was a great help as I had about a couple of hours sleep before getting up to come to the mall. The reason for the short sleep (or lack of it) during the night was because I had a couple of essays I had to work on, while the ideas were still fresh in my mind.
The Hatted writer (me) and the Batik Influencer in one of those rare moments of rest and “regroup”. 😉😀
Over the weekend, multiple numbers of the book were snapped up. I had a lady who was an avid reader stop by. After reading the back cover, she got a book. I was happy to personalise it for her.
With Derek Fernandez, who asked me to personalise his book, dedicating it to his wife.
The Man from MCMC with his copy of the book, with the Hatted Writer.
Another book acquirer was Derek Fernandez. He is one of the senior guys at MCMC, heading a very major portfolio. He showed me an app that he and his team had developed, one that is going to put “Speedtest” an excellent app itself, until now, in the bin. With this new app, you can test the broadband speeds from wherever you are. When testing the speed in an area, even if in a shopping complex as such, and the speeds fall below its approved level, it will send the speed result to the broadband provider and at the same time, to MCMC to take whatever action necessary.
With Derek Fernandez, the man from MCMC. Here he demonstrated on my phone, an app which he led in the development of it.
Derek, demonstrating, on my phone, an app which he led in its development. I think it is a super-cool app, one that everyone would surely want to have on their smartphones. I have downloaded this app on both my smartphones.
Avid book reader had to get my book, especially since she could get a personalised message from the author. 😀
Several people who had purchased the book earlier / previously, also turned up, just to chit- chat. Many were curious as to how I came up with this book, and discussed the various articles and chapters. They are eager for me to write my next book. Wow! That is motivation.

As the saying goes, “How time flies when we are having fun”, holds true. Before long, the weekend came to a close.
Engaging with a customer’s enquiry on one of our items on display.
Now, this weekend, which begins today; is at hand. Both, Jeannie the Batik Influencer, and I, the Hatted Writer; invite all you beautiful people, to come by. “You come by now, you hear!”, a line taken from the very famous tv show, The Beverley Hillibilles of the 1970s / 1980s.

Hello, hello, hello, everyone. Good morning. Great start to the weekend. This early Saturday morning’s weather is a bit gloomy, however, it is still fine. The last few mornings and almost all of each day, we had rain, with many parts of the day experiencing heavy downpour.
The Batik Influencer, that is, my wife, Jeannie: and I, will be at Amcorp Shopping Mall, at our own booth, F1.08; on the first floor, today and tomorrow. We are going to be there shortly, at 10.00am. We are excited to be there (We are always excited to man a booth at Amcorp Mall because we can meet multiple (o.k. “so many”) people – relatives, friends and make new friends.
We were at Booth F1.08 last weekend, too. We met many interesting people. One of them was so taken up with the Batik Influencer’s Batik Cape Creations under the “JEANNIE’S OWN” label, that he is proposing a collaboration of sorts with her for 2025, as Malaysia takes the “Chair” for Asean. Endless opportunities of excitement there. We just have to harness all the abundance of positive vibes that will be flowing through this honourable role that Malaysia will be in, for the whole of 2025.
The Mercedes Benz 300 SL, with Gull wing doors.
I, the Hatted Writer; met with an Italian Scientist, who stopped at our booth. He is researching and working on how to split platelets to increase its numbers. It could be in the area of helping those with low platelet count or splitting the platelets after donors donate it, to multiply its numbers. I told him that I was a regular platelet and blood donor, having donated 304 times in total. His immediate remark was, “You have saved many, many lives”. He and his wife are on holiday in Malaysia.
A rare collection of Ferraris in this special display cabinet.
Several people have called or messaged us, asking if we will be having a booth at Amcorp Shopping Mall this weekend, as they want to drop by and visit. So, we are expecting to be kept on our toes. Exciting! Some people who came by last weekend, booked some of the items we had on display and said that they will come this weekend to get them.
Various Ferrari models.
The Batik Influencer has several new pieces, limited number, of course; for this weekend. She is definitely an inspiration to the batik world. She was introduced and inspired by her late maternal grandmother, who word batik daily. So, come early to get your batik cape by the Batik Influencer.
An interesting array of diecast, and other vehicles.
This time round, among the many new items that we will be putting up for sale; there will be many Ferrari cars – a rare collection of over 15 years ago. You Ferrari fans and collectors who have been constantly asking me if I had Ferrari cars, your wishes and dreams have come true. You better come early to get yours. There are also, sets in special display containers. These will be offered as sets only.
A transparent “briefcase” style cabinet of a series of Cars used in James Bond movies, is also up for grabs.
These sets are in ultra beautiful display units. Very rare. Definitely show pieces for topics of conversation.
Another item of interest is a set of high end headphones, its condition is like new.
O.K. I will have to go now. The Batik Influencer, Jeannie; and I, are looking forward to meeting with all of you. See you there.
A beautiful and unique combination of colours in this Batik Cape Creation under the “JEANNIE’S OWN” label.
Different shades: A combination and interesting blend of browns and patterns.

Just got back from my 10 kilometer daily walk a short while ago. The skies were a bit overcast at the beginning of my walk / “jog?”. Then, the sun came out, with its flame flickin’ rays spurting out heat balls at us, some 93,000,000 (93 million) miles or 151.07 million km away from us here on earth. It was sufferin’ succotash hot. I continued my walk to its distance.
I did not want to stop as waiting for the “perfect day with the perfect weather”, may never come. I have become quite accustomed to the weather, so it did not bother me all that much, though I’d walk under shades provided by trees along the way whenever I could. My 10km daily walk is on my daily Task Todo list. I made it mandatory instead of “whenever I can” to carry out this daily task.
The weekend is almost upon us once again. One more day to go. Then, Friday. This weekend is the Merdeka weekend, where Malaysia celebrates its 67th year of Independence on August 31st. There are loads of “Merdeka Day” activities throughout the country. For people who usually spend their time at shopping malls, it will be most evident there where the shopping centres will be decorated, foyer activities and special Merdeka sales offered by most stores.
We, that is, Jeannie, the Batik Influencer, and I, Alan, the Hatted Writer; will be at Amcorp Shopping Mall, manning a booth at F1.04 (1st Floor, East Wing). It is a first for us to be having our booth up on a Friday. We will be having mostly, a different crowd of people coming by, mainly working people on their lunch break from offices around the area. Being a Friday, lunch break is usually a couple of hours long. So, more time to browse through and buy.

The Batik Influencer has a whole new line-up of her Batik Cape creations under her “JEANNIE’S OWN” label. The number of pieces available are very limited. Come early to grab what is up on offer. A wide variety of new and pre-loved items that are up for sale.
Emir, the young student; has been keeping in touch with me regularly over the past few weeks. He is looking forward to meeting with me at Amcorp Shopping Mall, as I with him and others. He has eyed one of the things that he wants to get from our booth, when he comes over.
Emir and yours truly, the Hatted Writer.
I look forward to weekends like these. I get to meet with multiple many (which means many, many😁) readers, subscribers and followers of leatherpotato.com in person, share ideas, views and possibilities of my upcoming book and articles. Who knows? Maybe, something zany will come about over these next three days. Crazy ideas bring the best out of us, yes?
We, the Batik Influencer, and I, the Hatted Writer; are gonna have fun at our booth at F1.04, 1st Floor, Amcorp Mall. Looking forward to seeing you all. Peace, people.🤗
Light and yet, official. A JEANNIE’S OWN Batik Cape Creation by the Batik Influencer.

NOTES: 1. “Suffering succotash” is a humorous exclamation or minced oath used to express surprise, frustration, or annoyance. It is often used in place of stronger language or as a way to avoid using profanity. The phrase itself does not have a direct or specific meaning, but it is used for humorous effect. Sufferin’ succotash is an often used phrase used by Sylvester the Cat of Terry Toons cartoons.
The weekend has fast approached us, slower for some, faster for others. The weather, Formula 1 and the Paris Olympics, among others; have been dominating the news.
What is great about this weekend is that we, the Batik Influencer, Jeannie; and I, are going to be at Amcorp Shopping Mall, in Petaling Jaya, or “PeeJay” as it is more commonly known.
We are operating a booth in the east wing on the first floor (our booth number is F1.01, by the escalator).
We are excited to have our booth opened as this gives us the opportunity to meet with many new people and our friends, too. Amir, is one of those many friends. He texted me to ask when I would be at Amcorp again. He was happy when I told him that we will be there this weekend.
There was one young girl, aged between 10 – 12 years old; who stopped by our booth several months ago and showed an interest in a little teddy bear we had on sale. She asked how much we were selling the bear, and I told her the price. At that particular time, we had a stream of people visiting us, requiring our attention. I thought she would hang on for a while until I settled with the person who grabbed my attention first , and I would have given the teddy bear to her for free. Ever since then, I have reserved the bear for her. I have been looking for her, hoping that she would come back to visit us. The look in her eyes said it all, and I am quite sure the little bear would have found a worthy owner. Let’s hope she comes over this weekend.

I am putting up my Insta360 Go 3 for sale. This is absolutely the action camera (even for those with not much action like me😁). Just in case you want to action action when you carry or / and use this camera in public, you can. This is tremendously the best camera for everything. Film your own sci-fi movie or anything else, including stills photography.
I have only used this Insta360 Go 3 twice. Why am I selling it? Valid question. I just don’t have the time to spend with it. It is still brand new, so to speak. I purchased a Harvey Norman extended warranty for it. The warranty extends right to December 2028.
We have multiple new items up for grabs / sale.
I am looking forward to meeting as many as possible – followers, subscribers, readers of leatherpotato.com. I had many interesting conversations at our Amcorp Mall booth sessions in the past. I am sure this weekend is going to be just as good. The topic of my book will come up. It is shaping up, going through its due process. I have had many suggestions on what my next book should be. One is to write a serious book based on my past experience as a Financial Planner. I see it as a short book that would help the customer invest their money in protective assets. I am giving much thought to it.
Come over to Booth 1.01, First floor. Tomorrow, August 10th, we will be there from 12.30pm onwards. Sunday, August 11th, we will be there at 10.00am. We, the Batik Influencer, Jeannie; and I (the Hatted Writer), look forward to meeting with you all there.
Amcorp Shopping Mall, Booth 1.01, 1st Floor, West Wing, 8, Jalan, Persiaran Barat, Seksyen 52 Petaling Jaya, 46050 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia Date: August 10 and August 11, 2024 Time: 10.00am to 5.30pm (can be extended to 7.00pm)
It is the weekend again. It has been quite the week since last Sunday.
I think the highlight of the week was when I was momentarily airborne (I think). No, I did not say, “Up, up and away!”. You would have mistaken me for the guy that wears his red underwear over his turquoise blue leotards. That must have been some sort of punishment he had to endure his whole life.
And for some of you who may think just because I am writer, I would have pulled out a fountain pen from my pocket and shouted, “Shintaro akeh kusa” or something like that and transform to the giant plasticky looking guy, with bulging eyes, and sort a mohican blade hairstyle running from the centre front of his head, all the way to the back. How many of you guys remember this – the crossing of his hands provides him the ultimate weapon. Yes, Ultraman.
The fall in Taipan, USJ; after that totally airborne moment or so; was quite a shocker. Jeannie rushed me to a clinic to get my wounds attended to. Now, into the third day, I am here waiting to get the dressing changed. The wounds are healing nicely.
We had so much fun last weekend at our F1. 03 booth. One of the many highlights of that weekend was when we met a Thai food Influencer. She did a short interview with the Batik Influencer, Jeannie. Thai Food Influencer & the Batik Influencer… hmmmmm. Maybe, a collaboration in the future?
This looks nice. What do you think?“Looks good on you. Go for it,”, her friend seemed to be saying. The gentleman in the red tee was browsing through the collectibles – many of them are hard to come by nowadays.
On the second day at the booth, I suddenly realised I left our house that morning without a hat. That only meant one thing – a visit to Mahmud, the hat and spectacle seller. As usual, he always has a super vibrant choice of hats and caps.
I tried on many and then came down to two choices:
This Gatsby
This flat cap
or
It was a tough choice. The Gatsby was more a laidback, versatile, U.S., U.K., Japanese or French (beret) style cap. Or The flat cap. Neat always, on the go for any occasion, more formal for formal and casual occasions.
Jeannie and our daughter, Laura; chose the same one as I had in mind – the flat cap. Love it. It is a very, very comfortable cap.
“I like this”, I hear her saying. After trying it on, she acquired it.The “JEANNIE’S OWN” label Batik Cape, loo0ks fabulous anyway it is worn, for any occasion.
“This I want”, he said.
In the meantime, I met some people who gave me some more ideas of how my book should come about. At present, I am putting together a manuscript. So, that is how much closer to having my book published. Excited and at the same time feel the pressure building up as I am targeting a deadline to have the book go to print. The people that I had talked with over that weekend gave some constructive ideas to possibly further enhance the book further. I wish I could incorporate all those ideas. However…., perhaps my next book or so.
The Batik Influencer, sharing her passion of batik to this customer.
She bought.
We look forward to having fun yet again, this weekend. The Batik Influencer has got several new designs out. Be the first to come and grab them. Very limited numbers.
Batik is for any occasion.
There are more pre-loved items that will be up for grabs at ultra special prices, over the next two days.
Come and check us out. We are looking forward to meeting all of you. Let’s once again, be the livewire of Amcorp Shopping Mall.
Wow! That’s a nice contrast of yellow / orange flowers, with deep green leaves; against a lucious pink back.
This is how it is folded.
Booth F3.08, 3rd Floor, Amcorp Shopping Mall, 8, Jalan Persiaran Barat, Seksyen 52, 46050 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia Date: May 25 and May 26, 2024 Time: 10.00am to 5.30pm (can be extended to 7.00pm
It’s Saturday, past noon. The Batik Influencer and I have set up post at F2.09.
It has been a pretty good start.
Except for a little “odd step”. As Jeannie and I were lugging big heavy bags of our “wares”, with more bags slung over our shoulders, literally with no hands free, just wanting to get these things to our booth as quickly as possible; a young representative from a U.N. booth, stopped Jeannie to ask her if she would like to be a member or something like that. I understand that this lady was trying to make a sale. However, she should have had some common sense to see that we were in no position at that very moment to entertain her. Jeannie gave her a stern look and continued towards the lifts to go up to our booth.
The beginning had some pretty good music streamed across by someone from another booth nearby.
A collector (chemist by profession); picked up some cars and key chains.
Another person, a teacher; came soon after and bought some key chains, too. And then, another person, one who bought quite a few key chains last month and the month before that, stopped over and said he will come again later to acquire more key chains when less people are around.
Net, going through the key chains.
Once the people started coming to check out the Batik Influencer’s Batik Cape Creations, there seemed to be no stopping. Jeannie was in her element, sharing the influence her grandmother, who was from the east coast state of Trengganu; imparted with her the beauty of batik. Her grandmother used batik everyday. Jeannie also loved the uncountable designs and the different hues and colours of this traditional wear.
A gentleman, enquiring about Jeannie’s Batik Cape Creation. And Jeannie, sharing the many uses of her Batik Cape Creation.Net, as he searched for the key chains that suited him, purchased 12 of them. The Batik Influencer, doing her stuff. Flying, soaring high, introducing the colours of Batik in her Batik Cape Creations.
We had a steady stream of people visiting our booth. Besides the batik capes and key chairs, several Hotwheels and Matchbox cars were sold as well. The 1979 Corgi “WonderWoman” car has found a new owner, too. The buyer, appreciated the mint condition of this 44 year old model.
A prospect trying a batik cape on. She and her husband were convinced this was the one for her. A very satisfied customer.
In between the day, while I manned the booth; Jeannie went to ronda-ronda (1) the food fair on the ground floor. One of the first purchases she made were the currypuffs from the same lady she bought these delights from a couple of times before. They were consistently tasty as the previous purchases.
Jeannie also bought more than 1kg of dokong langsat (a Malaysian fruit). The lady was selling it for RM8 per kg. Jeannie decided to buy 1kg. However, the lady kept tambah-ing (2) more and more dokong langsat until the weighing scales showed RM10 worth. Jeannie obliged her with the extra sale.
These are super delicious doughnuts (donuts for the Americans).
Doughnuts – of the delicious kind! Jeannie bought homemade pack-of-4 doughnuts (Queen’s [King’s?] English spelling. The Americans spell them as “donuts”) for my lunch. These doughnuts were really good. There aren’t the branded ones you get from the two top chains of doughnuts stores. RM10 for a pack of 4. We aren’t too sure if the seller is going to be here at Amcorp Mall every week from now on, but she will be here tomorrow. However, this young entrepreneur is here whenever Amcorp Mall has an F&B fair. So, if you are looking for some great Sunday morning or afternoon bites to go with your “mugga” (coffee) or “cuppa” (3) (tea); head on to the doughnut booth at the entrance of Amcorp Mall.
Gary, a newly made friend, and me.
Met Gary, when a couple of Corgi cars for sale on the table, caught his eye. He said he has some of the same models… and we started talking about many things we have in common. Gary said he is in USJ, Subang Jaya, on most days, after sending his daughter to school. He shared with me more cool (one place in SS12 has large ceiling fans) places that I have yet to visit. A large part of our discussion was on “leatherpotato“, how it started, why it started, where we are now, and what the immediate to short term future has in store for it. Looks like I’ve got my work cut out. Interesting.
A satisfied customer, her husband; the Batik Influencer, Jeannie; and me.
Jeannie and I popped by (more like we took turns) to visit Khatijah Marianne’s booth, “Anne Rocks”. She and her husband have got many, many items personally designed and coloured with passion, to colour your homes and offices, for any occasions. Drop by their booth on the 2nd floor.
Marianne, as usual, in “fun mode”.
Marianne came over to have a look at Jeannie’s batik capes. She was witty as usual. She’s a lovely, lovely person. If you can manage to coax her to sing, she may sing for you. She is the daughter of Michael Magness, a pioneer member of the famous Malaysian band, “The Strollers”.
Jeannie and I decided to call it a day at around 5.45pm. The good playlist of music which we heard from the time we settled at our booth, was still playing. Lots of great songs were on the playlist throughout the day.
As for the lady representative of the U.N. that we met at the beginning of the day; we will give her some time (that is if she is still there tomorrow) on our time schedule, to listen to what she has to promote. We wanted to give her some time on our way out at the end of our day, but the U.N. booth had already closed.
NOTES: 2nd Floor, Amcorp Shopping Mall, Booth 2.09, Level 2 Amcorp Shopping Mall, 8, Jalan, Persiaran Barat, Seksyen 52 Petaling Jaya, 46050 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia Date: Sept 23 and Sept 24, 2023 Time: 10.00am to 5.30pm (can be extended to 7.00pm)
Ronda is a Malay word for roam or in this case, “visit”.
Tambah-ing. Tambah is a Malay word for “add more”. In this case, the “-ing” part is just jazzing and having fun with some English.
Mugga is my expression in relation with coffee, as “cuppa” is to tea.
It was admittedly a very hectic day. Lots and lots of people coming over, browsing through the things we had on display. Topics of discussion varied from the batik influencer’s latest pieces on display which were quickly “acquired” by very happy ladies, to Formula 1 and Aryton Senna being the best of the best champions of all time, to the latest article, The Trojan Horse published in http://www.leatherpotato.com
The day quickly went by and we soon got thirsty. Jeannie went to a booth on the ground floor and bought ice (literally in ice, well most of it) Leng Chi Kang (I don’t know what it is in English) and some sardine curry puffs.
Iced Leng Chi Kang, with all its ingredients, little pieces of fruits, flowers and other things. Did I say flowers? I did.
Little flowers in my refreshing drink.
The leng chi kang drink was sssooooooooooo sweet – sugar overload. It was very nice, except for its over sweetness. Maybe. its just me. I keep my sugar intake in control.
Her sardine currypuffs and beef pies were very tasty. The sardine currypuffs soon sold out. If you want to buy some, you will have to come today (Sunday). This lady only puts up a booth when there are theme sales at the weekend bazaar. This weekend’s theme is “Art”. Come check out the works of the many local artists, here, at the mall.
Trying out my toy, “the selfie stick”.Beginning to like this selfie stick idea…😉😁
I got the chance to try out my new selfie stick, with bluetooth controls to the smartphone camera. More to come soon.
See you all at Amcorp Mall today.

NOTE: This essay was written on the spur of the moment within a few minutes.
Hi everyone. We will be at Amcorp Mall this coming weekend, July 1 & July 2. The full information is:
We had such great fun the last time out when we were there. We met with so many people, many of whom are readers, subscribers and followers of http://www.leatherpotato.com that we decided on doing this again. Roadshow? Not really.
Renowned batik influencer, Jeannie; will be there, too. She will be bringing some of her new creations. You better come early to acquire one or more of these creations as the numbers are limited.
These past few days, I have been coaching some people on re-looking at their finances. This is an area where some people don’t want to look into. They believe the less they know, they won’t be worried. The truth is, what they don’t know or don’t want to know will catch up with them sooner or later.
I come from a belief that you should firmly be in the driver’s seat of your income, your salary. Amongst the first of the “first thing first”, is to pay yourselffirst when you receive your income.
What does it mean to pay yourself first? Come meet with me for a chat. You probably will have many questions especially on how to get this done. Some simple steps and / or methods. This is not like you see those trailer videos where the speakers have some “secrets” they want to share with you, only if you click the button below👇.
But I don’t have a button below for you to click on. Therefore I don’t have secrets to share? Or do I? Come to find out.
We have many new collectibles we will be putting on sale for the first time. So, it will be worth your while to come on over. We may just have something of an interest to you. Amongst these things will include two rare Swatch watch ( ladies’ models), a super slim rare gent’s Seiko dress watch, a Men At Work LP (vinyl), more Hotwheels vehicle models that we’ve never put up before and much more.
We also have in the off’rings some tech items. These items include a chic pair of Bang & Olufsen headphones, A Samsung Super Fast Wireless Charging Duo (come in real handy when you have many things to charge. It is very convenient. Just put it on the pad to charge and pick it up when you are on the go. The pad has a wider contact area for charging.), Samsung Buds Live and many more.
As always, we are looking forward to being the booth with lots of excitement (noisy, fun excitement. haha) once again. Jeannie and I have loads of fun. Come on over for a meet up and chat. There could also be something or things that could rouse your interest to pick up.
We had lots of fun with our “MEET WITH ME SESSION” gatherings last month, where our renowned Batik Influencer, Jeannie Ong; and me (Alan), from http://www.leatherpoato.com; met with so many wonderful friends and made, many, many more new friends, too.
Jeannie shared her views on the beauty of batik, the colours, patterns and designs that create vibrance around it, batik for all occasions, be it formal or casual; batik every day. She has a growing following as a batik influencer.
I shared the reasons for starting http://www.leatherpoato.com – to make a dent in the world, to shift the mindset of people’s thinking during the Covid-19 pandemic, where everything seemed to have been spiraling out of control, downwards. I believed that as long as there was a tomorrow, there was hope and that we should all hang on to that belief.
Now, the pandemic has been put out and world order seems to be restored; I still wanna (in the word family of “gonna, gotta”) write. I am having an immense amount of fun on working on each new article and publishing them. Oh yeah…I still wanna make a dent in the world. The journey has changed a bit. However the general direction is still the same.
I met with many subscribers and readers of leatherpoato.com. I learnt about many values that people hold close to them and treasure. They shared how articles they had read from leatherpotato.com resonate in their lives, too. While they shared stories about their lives, ideas for new essays started lighting up. I noted them down in the ideaSketchpad💡. Now, the ideaSketchpad 💡is overflowing with storylines, so much so that I am not sure which I should start with first, as all of them have merit.
At the same time, there were many people who were interested in the things we put on sale, too. The Hotwheels cars are a winner, that’s for sure. There are many who are enthusiasts and just collect these vehicles as a hobby for fun. Then, there are the serious collectors. There were a couple of them who showed me pictures of how they “Hotwheelsed” their living room walls in their homes with Hotwheels cars. These are more than just the serious collectors. They have spent a pretty penny on their hobby.
We are having a “MEET WITH ME SESSION” this weekend (May 27th and May 28th) at Amcorp Shopping Mall where Jeannie and I will be there to meet with you.
Jeannie will continue to focus on promoting the “localness” of her “La” Batik Cape Creations. She will be showcasing her latest in designs.
We have three Samsung Galaxy smartphones, one of which is a new A14 5G model, and a new Samsung Galaxy Watch5 (unopened box) up for sale, among the Hotwheels and many things that we are putting up for sale, too.
Laura, who has just returned after having studied abroad for nearly four years, will be with Jeannie and I at Amcorp Shopping Mall; too. She will share her experience of living away from home, adapting to a new life, culture and skills. She will also share what it was like being a student swim athlete, having represented Selangor for several years and then being on her college team. If you are a student or student athlete who is thinking of studying abroad, you may have a question or two…or more, for Laura.
Come meet us. Together, we can explore new ideas.
We will be at:
3rd Floor, Amcorp Shopping Mall, Booth 3.08, Level 3 Amcorp Shopping Mall, 8, Jalan, Persiaran Barat, Seksyen 52 Petaling Jaya, 46050 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia Date: May 27 and May 28, 2023 Time: 10.00am to 4.00pm (can be extended to 7.00pm)
See you all, there, this Saturday (May 27th) and Sunday (May 28th).

While penning this article; I was listening over our Google Home Mini to songs sung by the late, the great, the legend in her own right – Tina Turner. She coloured the world with her wonderful songs – her voice and the way she sung them – unmistakably Tina Turner. May she Rest In Peace.
