We were just coming out of last weekend and getting into the groove of things. Before we knew it, it’s the weekend again.

We are into the penultimate lap of the year. The month of November has just begun. Phew! Where has the year gone? I think it is time to take stock of what we have accomplished, in the midst of accomplishing and have yet to accomplish.

It means different things for different people. Remember that thing called “New Years Resolutions?” Do you have any faint recollection of it?

For the serious people and planners, they would have their goals and new years resolutions in front of them, eyeball on the plan from the very beginning. These are people who may have already accomplished what they set out to to do in the beginning of the year; or, about to hit their goals. They had a plan, followed through it and succeeded, without the need of plan B, C or D. Success story at year end.

The next group of these who aimed for their goals and promised resolutions, worked hard but did not quite make it.

The next group of people started on their new year’s resolutions, but will fail because they did not put any effort into it. The final group of people are those who did not leave the starting line.

While you are trying to identify which group you belong to, the Batik Influencer and I, the Hatted Writer; will be manning a booth (F2.15, 2nd Floor [East Wing]) at Amcorp Shopping Mall, this weekend.

The Batik Influencer, Jeannie; has a whole new range of her “JEANNIE’S OWN” Batik Cape Creations for this weekend. The number of pieces are limited….so, you’d better come early if you want to get one or more for yourself. Besides this, we have multiple items of interest that are worth checking out.

What do you think the title of my upcoming book which will be published and be in book stores by mid- December be? [3 “be(s)” in a sentence, That’s a lot of be(s)] How do you think the launch should be? I have several ideas. Let’s see if we can gel and agree with each other on how this should go. It is gonna be absolutely exciting, having reached “crescendo pitch exciting”.

We are looking forward to catching up with all of you. We always have a great time when we have a booth set up at Amcorp. We get to meet many new people, catch up with old friends, and we meet quite a few relatives, too. We have also made friends with people manning their own booths, some for well over 20 years. Kudos to them.
